About our Bali Group Tours

Travelling Sustainably

The Japanese are well known for not littering, and that’s something we ask you abide by all over Asia – but that’s not where ‘sustainable travel’ ends for us. We use public transport, stay in small hostels and ensure we work closely with the local communities.

The Adventure Leaders

Your Bali guide will be a local expert, leading you through fascinating, budget friendly, authentic experiences. Adventure Leaders have the passion and knowledge to ensure that they can help you have a great time.

The People

Each trip is different, but our travelers come from all over the world and from every background. Before your Bali group trip, why not connect with fellow Dragon Trippers or meet people on The Dragon Trip Facebook page?

Travel Bali

Bali’s distinct cultural heritage, strongly influenced by its Hindu traditions, sets it apart from many other destinations. Visitors can explore ancient temples like Uluwatu, experience traditional dances, and participate in religious ceremonies, as well as immersing themselves in Bali’s inspiring arts scene. There is an almost spiritual, mystical atmosphere to be found in Bali’s many landscapes, and the fact that Balinese people are known for kindness and hospitality is an added bonus!

If you’re adventuring to the Indonesian islands for an unforgettable Bali gap year, you might learn to surf, explore sacred temples, and watch stunning sunsets over the ocean. The only concern you will have is running out of time before you can do it all.

If you’re looking for the perfect combination of culture, adventure, relaxation and fun, discover our Bali group tours, in particular our 2 week Indonesia adventure tour.

About our Bali Group Solo Tours

  • Ubud: Head to the cultural heart of Bali! Visit the Monkey Forest and Royal Palace, before treating your tastebuds to local delicacies at the markets. You could even embark on a hike to Tukad Cepung Waterfall, and visit the famous Tegallang Rice Terraces. Take the chance to immerse yourself at the Ubud Fire Kecak dance show, or snorkel through Bali’s crystal-clear waters and embrace Ubud’s rich natural splendour.
  • Canggu: Pay a visit to Menjangan Island for Canggu – a laid-back coastal village known for its excellent surf breaks. Partake in unreal snorkelling experiences with multi-coloured wildlife, and relax on Canggu’s bright beaches afterwards. The local nightlife is also highly recommended, namely the beach clubs!
  • Gili Trawangan: Head to another of Indonesia’s islands near to the coast of Lombok – Gili Trawangan, the largest of the three Gili islands. Relax amongst spectacular white sand beaches, or take a bike tour of this beautiful island and snorkel across the reefs. You can even listen to live music and party the night away on the sand! The choice is yours.

Do you need a visa to visit Bali?

It depends on your nationality and the length of your stay.

Citizens of ASEAN countries do not need a visa. Citizens of over 90 countries will require a Visit Visa for a 30-day stay, and those remaining will need a 211A Visa, which lasts 60 days.
