26-day China Loop
Our Flagship tour, the 26-day China Loop takes you all across China from the tropical South to the historic North, and the rural West to the flourishing East. It’s perfect for those looking to really explore all that China has to offer, and have an extended amount of time to do so. Whether you’re taking a gap year, travelling during summer holiday or you’re just really good at tallying up your annual leave, this trip will take you under the skin of China and have you living life like a local.
You’ll be exploring China’s biggest cities including Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong, and ticking things off your bucket list left, right and centre. But we’ll also show you a side to the country that you never knew excisted, from the ancient roundhouses in Fujian to the peaceful ancient city of Hangzhou. And who could forget a visit to China’s national icon, the pandas in Chengdu’s Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding – which by the way, has contributed hugely to China’s efforts at lifting pandas off the endangered species list!
22-day Shanghai Loop
This slightly shorterned tour starts and ends in the bustling, shiny city of Shanghai. Taking you on an adventure in just under 3 weeks, you’ll venture through rural Yangshuo, head to the pandas in Chengdu, make your way to the Terrscotta Warriors in Xi’an, learn the art of kungfu in Shaolin, pay a visit to the capital – Beijing, and stop off in Hangzhou before returing to Shanghai! Our 22-day Shanghai Loop is perfect for those who still want to see as much of China as possible, and go beyond just the big cities, but have a little less time to do so.
With countless international airport across the country, this trip is a great option for those who are flexible with the city of origin. 17-day Hong Kong Loop
If you don’t have time so complete the full 26-day China Loop but you’re fascinated by western half of China, then this is the tour for you! Our 16-day Hong Kong Loop does exactly that. Starting and ending in thriving Hong Kong, you’re venture through Yangshuo, Chengdu, Xi’an, Shaolin and Bejijng, all within 16 days. It’s a great choice for those looking for a balance between urban and rural, bucket list and off the beaten track.
If you’re not bothered about heading back to Hong Kong for a return flight back home, then our 17-day Hong Kong to Beijing tour is the one for you. It’s exactly the same as our 16-day loop, the only different being you don’t zoom back down to Hong Kong at the end of the trip, you’ll just finish up in Beijing. It’s a great option if you’re contining on your travels to South Korea or Japan, which are much closer to Beijing.
12-day Panda Volunteering & Travel
Sometimes you want to do more than just travel, and what better place to volunteer than with the gorgeous pandas in Chengdu. Our 14-day Panda Volunteering & Travel trip includes 3 full days of volunteer work at the Dujiangyan Panda Research Centre, followed by 8 days exploring China as part of a group tour. Volunteering activities will vary from day to day but will range from helping the rangers prepare the enclosures, cleaning, preparing meals and feeding the pandas! During your stay, you’ll have enless opportunities to learn about the centre’s efforts towards panda conservation, how they’re looked after and more about the species.
After finishing of your volunteer work, it’s time to explore China! Head to Xi’an and meet the rest of your fellow travellers before exploring the ancient city, including the famous Terracotta Warriers. Continue on to Shaolin where you’ll learn the art of kungfu, before finishing the trip in the capital, Beijing. You’ll even have the chance to camp on the Great Wall of China!

10-day Beijing to Shanghai Tour
This is the perfect tour for those with only a week or so to take off work and want to see two of China’s most influential cities. You’ll start our 10-day Beijing to Shanghai tour in the capital, exploring the masses of ancient culture it has to offer. Right off the bat, you’ll head to the Great Wall of China for an opportunity of a lifetime – camping on an unrestored section of the wall, where you can watch both the sunset and the sunrise… wow! From Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, to the Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace, you’re in for a treat during your 4 days in Beijing.
Break up two major cities with a quick stop in Hangzhou, a smaller Chinese city located just 2 hours outside of Shanghai. Slow the pace down as you pay visits to West Lake, hike through the Misty Forest, explore the Old Town and learn about the city’s tea and silk trade. Then, continue on to shiny Shanghai and stand in awe at the cityline from the banks of The Bund. Explore the city’s modern and ancient sides and hit the town for a night out in the “New York of Asia”. It’s the perfect option for those passing through China on a quick visit!
8-day Hong Kong to Chengdu Tour
Maybe you’ve already been to Beijing and Shanghai, or you’re just not about that city life, this trip is the perfect way to see a side of China you didn’t know existed, while only using up a few days of annual leave or fitting it into a semester break! On our 9-day China tour, you’ll spend the afternoon in Hong Kong, visiting Victoria Peak for epic views over the city, before heading to beautiful Yangshuo. Marvel at the unique karst peaks as you bamboo raft, cycle and hike your way through the countryside.
Finish off your whirlwind trip with a few days in ancient Chengdu, home to China’s pandas, ancient teahouses and spicy hotpot! You’ll have the chance to take part in a Mandarin class, volunteer at an Autism Children Rehabilitation Centre, visit a 71m tall Buddha carved into a cliff face and watch a traditional Sichaun Opera performance. This trip is the perfect introduction to Chinese culture, whilst giving you a taste of life outside the big, bustling cities!
