The Dragon Trip is committed to our customers’ privacy and security and to taking steps designed to secure your personal and financial information. We believe your private details should be kept just that and, when you share personal information with us, we will make all reasonable endeavours to keep your details secure and private.

Website

The Dragon Trip uses Google Analytics, a third party service, to track and analyse online visitor behaviour to help us improve the website user experience. Customer Data Collection

The Dragon Trip collects personal information necessary to respond to information requests, process your booking, and ensure that your travel runs smoothly by checking that you have the correct documents required for our trips. We share only the necessary personal information with our partner suppliers (accommodation, local guides, and transport companies) and public authorities (customs and security checkpoints) on your trip. Your personal information is stored with a third party provider, Sales Force. Here personal information and booking details are kept. WhatsApp & WeChat Messaging Service

As a customer of The Dragon Trip, you will receive an invite to join either our WhatsApp (Japan and Southeast Asia tours) or WeChat (China tours) group to ensure smooth communication between you (our customer) and our Adventure Managers / Adventure Leaders during your trip. We recommend all our customers to join their relevant chat group to help ensure that you get the most out of your trip experience. Social Media

To manage our social media channels we make use of Buffer where we collect information such as post performance and engagement. Personal details, direct messages, and reviews that are collected via our social media platforms will not be shared with organisations other than the one stipulated above. Monthly E-Newsletter

To send out our monthly e-newsletter we make use of third-party provider, MailChimp. We collect statistics on email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve the content we share in our monthly e-newsletter. How You can Access or Change your Personal Information

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to request access to and receive information about the personal information we maintain about you, update and correct inaccuracies in your personal information and have the information blocked or deleted, as appropriate. You have the right to access personal information but this may be limited in some circumstances by local law requirements. You also have the right to opt out, free of charge, from the processing of your personal information for marketing purposes. All requests for access, rectification, blocking and opting-out must be made in writing, signed, dated and accompanied by a copy of your ID card.
