Yes they are. Sri Lanka’s vaccination programme has been successful so far, they have already administered 29 million doses and this number is growing day by day, over 65% of their population are fully vaccinated meaning their transmission remains low.
Nepal’s Covid cases are now back down to figures seen at the very start of the pandemic. The average daily cases are at around 700, to understand how low this is for a country of 22 million inhabitants it’s useful to look at London, a city of around 9 million, where their daily cases are at around 4,500. So it’s currently safer to get on a plane to Sri Lanka than visit London!
There are some limitations on public transport, but we organise that for you so no need to worry! Apart from that, mask wearing is still advised and social distancing is enforced. Some activities are restricted like large public gatherings, however we will organise the activities for the tour alongside the advice from the Sri Lankan government.
