The Dragon Weekend Trips take big groups of young people living in Shanghai away for unforgettable weekends. Many people studying or working in Shanghai leave feeling that China isn’t a beautiful country, so we set up The Dragon Weekend Trips to change that. We are happy to take bookings from universities, corporations or groups of friends.
The itineraries are designed to provide a balance between visiting famous tourist sites, hiking/swimming in off the beaten track locations, great food and even better night life. On our trip to Hangzhou for example, the first day is spent boating on Westlake before having a BBQ on the Southern banks of the lake which often turns into a night in one of Hangzhou’s funnest clubs. The next day we head to a rolling bamboo forest set in a mountain range near Moganshan, where we hike, swim and relax in the lodge, beer in hand as the sun goes down, before returning to Shanghai.

The best weekend I had during my 2 months in Shanghai. I’ve never seen such a pure lagoon as the one at the end of the hike, when we saw it we couldn’t wait to jump in!”
